Senior Adult Ministry
We welcome you to the life of Senior Adult Ministry! We strive to stay connected and serve Christ with friends and family through our various ministries. We have many ways of living out our faith and serving along side each other. Here are just a few ways of getting connected to the body of Christ with fellow brothers and sisters as we help our neighbors flourish with the joyful life and endless love of Jesus at Second Pres.
Join us in helping each other in times of need with chores, support, and educational seminars.
Just Older Youth, loves to plan activities for continued fellowship and deepening our friendship with each other.
We meet every Friday for a meal, prayer, devotional, and fellowship. This is a great way to stay connected and grow in your faith.
Our history inspires us to “live a life worthy of our calling.” We meet every Thursday and work on preserving the History of Second Pres.

Join us for the sewing and quilting ministry. We sew, quilt, and pray as we assemble quilts for those who need special encouragement with a prayer quilt.
Join us for a time of prayer as we write notes of encouragement for those who have suffered loss and need special encouragement.
Are you an RN who wants to use your training in helping the congregation members who may need extra help assessing what level of care they need? Please join this team of caring individuals who serve in a special way.
Come be a part of a team of caring individuals who take time out of their schedule to visit and minister to shut ins, homebound and nursing home members who love to spend time staying connected to the church.
Second Pres. Deacons care for the church body in so many ways as they build relationships through compassion and care for the sake of the gospel. Join the Deacons and be a part of outreach to not only members but to the city and beyond as we help our neighbors flourish with the joyful life and endless love of Jesus.
Meals are a great way for grieving families to share and fellowship together as remember their loved ones. Come and be a part of this kitchen team and help with light prep, set up, serving, clean, up as you take part in radical hospitality.
Help others feel welcome into the life of the church by serving as an usher or a greeter.
