The next Adult Christian Education (ACE) class held at Second Pres will discuss themes of Lent.
Classes could focus on deepening participants’ understanding of the Lenten season, its significance, and spiritual practices. These classes may cover biblical foundations of Lent, history and traditions, themes of repentance and renewal, spiritual practices such as ways to observe Lent, including fasting, devotional reading, acts of service, and contemplative prayer, and Holy Week preparation. Classes may include Bible study, discussion, personal reflection, and group activities to encourage a meaningful Lenten journey.
Each Lenten ACE class will be held in the Chapel following Sunday worship service, beginning around 10:00 a.m. Materials will be provided for those that choose to attend.
