KYLE JOHNSON
Kyle has a passion for Transformational Ministry. He enjoys creating spaces that encourage healthy growth and development. It’s a feature of his Calling, to prepare God’s people for their purpose in God. He’s been serving in this capacity for over 16 years, garnering diverse experiences within various cultures, communities and Christian denominations.
Originally from Willingboro, New Jersey, Kyle comes from a long line of line of educators & clergy. He’s studied Radio, TV, & Film in his undergraduate career beginning at Clark Atlanta University (HBCU). He parlayed that into a Mass Communications degree in Advertising & Public Relations with a focus on Electronic Media, in partnership with the Universities of Cincinnati & Bridgeport.
Kyle received his Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Care and Counseling from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University (HBCU). He is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Ministry with a focus on Transformational Leadership & Culture. Kyle was licensed and ordained to the gospel ministry at the Second Baptist Church of Santa Ana, California under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Ivan Pitts.
During the majority of his Ministerial career Kyle’s been a Stay at Home Parent to his family (4 sons). Beyond NJ, he’s called MA, WI, OH, CT, VA, & GA home, which has afforded those opportunities for diversion and formation.
